Please Call Me A MUSLIM just a MUSLIM

The other day someone asked me from which religion you belong to? I said what do you mean? He replied religion (Dharam). I said come on brother you know it well. He gave me a charming smile and said ” I know you are Muslim but which KIND of muslim you are? Are you a Sunni, Shia, Khoja, Jamaati, Tableeghi, Hanfi, Shaafi, Ahle Hadees…?
I was stunned this time. However this had not shocked me some time back when another friend of mine had asked the same question, instead I replied immediately saying I am a sunni muslim and a Tableeghi/ tableegi jamat. But this time it hit me so hard that I was clue less.
By the grace of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala (SWT), I was able to reply him that I am ‘Just A Muslim’. I made him understand that these sects within Muslim community have been created by human beings and not Allah. Allah says in the Quran -

(41:33) – Al Quran.

Translation:   “And who is better in speech than him who invites towards Allah and does righteousness and says, ‘I am muslim’. “
What Allah wants us to be called as is Muslim and not with any other name. But we call and distinguish ourselves with other human promoted names and groups. All muslims are equal and one and they form a single group, but today so called ‘Mullas’ have created and divided Muslims by manipulating our real Deen which our Prophet Mohammed PBUH had left for Ummah more than 1400 years back.
We should call people towards the ONE that is Allah SWT only, contrary people have formed groups and started inviting others to join their group. We should first ask ourselves a question as to whether there were these groups or JAMAAT in our prophet’s time. The answer is a BIG NO.
Our prophet never called people towards a group or JAMAAT. His motive was to make recognize people about existence of Allah and the hereafter.
We here should make our own judgement and should use common sense, since common sense is something which is not common at all. We are just blind followers of what our Mullas say. We have the right to ask questions and not just blind follow them.
We will discuss a lot more from here; this is just an introduction to be familiar with the topic. Your comments and feedbacks are welcome.

Important: The views expressed here are not against any group of people but is made to clear the misconceptions people have about ISLAM.
